Washington, DC—On March 7, 2013, the WFPG co-sponsored the annual International Women’s Day Luncheon with the UN Foundation and UN Information Center in DC. This year’s panel included Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration Anne Richard, Sarah Craven of UN Population Fund, and Mayra Buvinic of the UN Foundation, and covered women’s economic empowerment and violence against women. UN Foundation President Kathy Calvin moderated the discussion.
