Washington, DC—On November 3, 2014, Helene Cooper, Pentagon Correspondent at The New York Times, spoke to WFPG members and guests about her recent trip to Liberia to report on the Ebola epidemic. Cooper gave a first-hand account of Ebola hospitals, the reaction of the Liberian people, and her opinion of the American media's portrayal of Ebola.
