ANNOUNCEMENT
Patricia Ellis Retires as WFPG President

July 15, 2017 - After 22 years of leadership of the Women's Foreign Policy Group (WFPG), co-founder Patricia Ellis stepped down from her role as WFPG President. She will now serve as WFPG President Emeritus.

We are all tremendously grateful for Patricia's dedication and extraordinary contributions to promoting women's leadership in foreign policy along with the presentation of stimulating discussions of important international issues. Under Patricia's leadership, the organization has offered outstanding programs and conferences on foreign policy issues with high-profile speakers including Secretaries of State and other government officials, UN and corporate leaders, ambassadors, prominent journalists, authors, and think-tank experts. Under her direction the WFPG also mentored thousands of next generation leaders through its internship program, career panels and annual mentoring fairs. The Board of Directors is pleased that Kim Kahnhauser Freeman will continue with the WFPG and help lead the organization during this transition.
