Career Pathways: Intelligence

On May 16, WFPG hosted its third "Career Pathways" session with professionals who shared their experiences that led them to pursuing careers in Intelligence. Speakers included Erinn Whitaker, Professor of the Practice in the Curriculum of Peace, War and Defense, UNC Chapel Hill; Mary Quinn, pecialist Leader for Deloitte; and Adrianne George, Founder of MyCyberExec.

On April 18, WFPG hosted its second "Career Pathways" session with professionals who shared their experiences that led them to pursuing careers in AI, Technology, and Cybersecurity. Speakers included Lauren Bedula, Managing Director, Beacon Global Strategies; Ayan Islam, Director, Cyber Workforce, Office of the National Cyber Director; and Dr. Kathryn Neal, Senior Director, International Policy Microsoft.

On March 21, WFPG hosted its first virtual event for its brand new mentoring initiative "Career Pathways," that focused on professionals and their experiences that led them to pursuing careers in the United Nations. Speakers included Stefania Piffanelli, Director of the United Nations Information Center, Washington; Stefano Pettinato, Deputy Director of the United Nations Development Program Washington Representation Office; and April Pham, Senior Gender Advisor of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, New York.
