CELEBRATION OF WOMEN DIPLOMATS
NY Celebration of Women Diplomats

New York, NY—On April 4, 2017, the Women’s Foreign Policy Group held its annual Celebration of Women Diplomats at the home of WFPG Member Geraldine Kunstadter. The program honored the achievements of women permanent representatives to the United Nations, deputy permanent representatives to the United Nations, and consuls general. Honorees included the Ambassadors to the United Nations from Albania, Andorra, Bhutan, Colombia, Hungary, Lithuania, Pakistan, Qatar, and Zambia. WFPG also recognized the Deputy Permanent Representatives of the European Union, Namibia, and the United States as well as the Consuls General of Barbados, Germany, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Peru, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom. Ambassador Michele Sison, Deputy Permanent Representative of the US Mission to the UN, gave brief remarks.
