Washington, DC – On March 31, 2004, the Women’s Foreign Policy Group hosted its first Congressional Leadership Awards Luncheon, honoring Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) and Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX). The two senators spoke of the challenges and responsibilities of American world leadership. The event was followed by a question and answer session. Margaret Warner, Senior Correspondent with The News Hour with Jim Lehrer, served as Mistress of Ceremonies.
