Washington, DC—On February 12, 2014, Ambassador Ashok Kumar Mirpuri of Singapore hosted an Embassy Series event for the Women's Foreign Policy Group on "Singapore and the US: Strategic Partners in the Asia Pacific." In his remarks Ambassador Mirpuri discussed the importance of the Trans-Pacific Parnership and Singapore's role in the Asia Pacific. WFPG Board member Diana Villiers Negroponte welcomed guests and introduced Ambassador Mirpuri, and WFPG president Patricia Ellis moderated the event at the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore.
