On Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 9:00-10:00am ET, the National Security Institute (NSI) at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School is excited to host an event in partnership with Beacon Global Strategies and the Women's Foreign Policy Group, "Protecting Ukraine: Public-Private Defense of Allies Abroad," as the soft-launch of NSI's new Cyber and Tech Center. The event will be hosted in-person and will feature special guests Jennifer Bachus, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Cyberspace and Digital Policy at the State Department; Eric Goldstein, Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency; Dave Luber, Deputy Director of Cybersecurity at the National Security Agency; and Jeanette Manfra, Global Director for Risk and Compliance at Google Cloud. The event will seek to inform industry professionals and Congressional offices on the public-private partnership in building cyber defense and countering attacks at home and abroad.
